Here’s what it feels like to be mostly unaware of passing time. A drop of oil is slithering across the blade. You never
can be sure what will meet you in the gardens. Slight are the movements on
the inside of a myth. Someone’s watching as you make your eager preparations. Slices of a detuned old piano slipping through these fingers in the dead of night. Ending the silence in the noise of falling towels. Where to now? The waves are eternal. Heavy and adrift. Circular and absent-minded. Calm. Repetition is like snow.
